I should have grabbed my camera for some documentation but as I got going this morning bring pieces in to put in my stripping vat I unknowingly walked by a scorpion perched to the right of the door I walked in and out of. I hate those things! I saw some dead ones when I was rearranging stuff earlier in the week but didnt think any more about it.
So I will be doing some major insect spraying this afternoon sometime. Any hints on keeping these things away would be very much appreciated.

Ok, I guess today was wildlife day or something. After my little encounter (if you dont know already scorpions freak me out) I decide to do a little home maintenance in the way of spraying pesticide. Well on the way in the house I find another scorpion but this time he is in for a fight for his life against a lizard. I never knew lizards like to eat scorpions.
Well this lizard did. He bit the scorpions tail off then ran off behind our trash can because he saw me looking. I knew what was going on at this point so I went on in the house. I come back the scorpion and lizard are long gone.
So I get back with my stuff (I went to a specialty store for DIYers) and begin my spraying. Stuff moving long good and this poor little bird comes flying between me and the sprayer, Im using one of those pump things, and just reflex I spray the bird with my mixture. My gosh I really hated that! I looked around for a nest or something but I didnt see one anywhere around my shop. I watched him a few minutes, he landed maybe 15 feet away and then I went back to spraying. Hope he's ok.
End of wildlife day. LOL

Other than that I am back pedal to the metal!
